Part two of life is a lesson explores more thought-provoking ideas about my journey on this earth so far…
4. Open your heart
Life will present experiences, relationships and fleeting moments to you that are to challenge you, open your eyes and to show you things that you may have never considered. Do not allow one bad relationship to shut you off from the world. The only person who is losing out is you. When you open yourself up to the world, yes you are also opening yourself up to hurt though you are also allowing beautiful, amazing people to come into your life and teach you about yourself.
Be open to new friendships, new lovers and to people who may need your help. Open up and see what is going on in the world around, someone may need your help and you could be just the breath of fresh air they need to get them out of the dumps and into the clouds.
5. Trust in yourself
Learn to trust your gut instinct and your emotions, if something doesn’t feel right then the chances are it isn’t right. Every day we allow others opinions, thoughts and emotions to rule over ours. This is unhealthy and ends with you putting yourself last. You need to learn to trust yourself and do what is right for you. And the people who love you will understand this, because when you are happy and in tune with yourself in-turn you add positive vibes and joy to their life.
When life gives you tough questions that need to be answered look internally, you have the answer. You may not like the answer to your question. It may even scare you, challenge you and push you. Your gut instinct is never wrong.
Life is a journey, and we all have our own paths to follow. Sometimes we follow other people’s footsteps and sometimes we are the ones creating the footprints in the sand for others to follow. In the end, our true happiness comes from within ourselves and these rules is what has allowed me to reach this beautiful point of happiness and joy I am experiencing right now.
